10:00 am—1:00 pm
This workshop will introduce participants to double weaving, which is a simple technique for producing two-sided or multilayered fabrics. Double weaving also serves as a stepping stone to more complex weaving styles, from jacquard weaving, to 3D-weaving, to shape-weaving. Participants in this workshop will design, draft, and weave small-scale multilayer fabrics.
