In this painting workshop we will explore the portrait using only two colors. Students will learn the fundamentals of portrait painting and explore these skills in value-based studies using two colors of their choice.

Jadyn LaDeau is an oil and gouache painter living and working in Deer Isle, ME. While mainly painting landscapes, LaDeau says that portraits have long been a favorite subject to work with—studying someone’s features and discerning their character from subtle expressions.
