This workshop will feature Haystack’s latest xTool laser cutter, an affordable small format machine for making many different projects. We will show participants how you can use this machine to engrave and prepare a screen for screen printing and make some prints for people to take home.

James Rutter is Haystack’s Technology Director. He holds a Ph.D. in STEM Education and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering. He has spent the past 15 years working in creative and educational spaces developing programs and projects for Fab Labs and makerspaces.
