Explore the world of glass mosaics in this beginner-friendly workshop! Using a variety of glass-cutting tools and pre-cut plywood bases, students will learn essential techniques for cutting, arranging, and grouting glass pieces to create stunning mosaic art. Due to time constraints, the digital fabrication component will be incorporated in advance, with plywood "canvases" prepared for participants to personalize with their mosaic designs. Instructor Mia Sartori will guide students through the entire process, from tool use to finishing touches. Perfect for adults interested in trying a new craft or honing mosaic skills. All materials will be provided, including hangers for easy display of your finished piece.

Makeup Date: Saturday, March 8, 2:00 PM–5:00 PM

Mia Sartori is a Deer Isle-based artist with a technical background in glass and a personal passion for making things.
